Store update: Motorola Milestone

Waiting to jump the gun on the Android OS? Experience it first hand on this powerhouse designed by the original creators of mobile telephone - Motorola

As our local telcos won't be serving the Milestones anytime soon, it's here and ready for your hands to land on the latest hype.

A quick overview of the Milestone from below,

Quad band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
HSDPA 2100/900
Multitouch capacitive screen
3.5mm audio jack
5 MP camera
Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi
Android 2.0 (upgradable to 2.1)
256MB Ram
8GB MicroSD (upgradable to 32)
ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz processor

With hardware similar to the iPhone 3G S, this phone is packed with more benefits than the Apple giant by,

- STEREO speakers (I bet you didn't know how handicapped iPhone is)
- Full Bluetooth (Apple hadn't exactly given us a bluetooth to use)
- Removable battery (yeah we can still remove iPhone batteries ourselves, just not anytime)
- QWERTY keyboard (yay)
- 5 megapixel camera (eat it up Apple)

and with the promise of Android platform being open sourced (think of Mozilla vs IE), this is an exciting year for an exciting competitor to join the touchscreen market.
