Jailbreak your iPhone OS 3.1.3 NOW!

On February 2nd, Apple launched a small update to nullify your jailbreak/unlocks. Those who accidentally hit the update button, do not fear, help is here...

So whats the update about?

Apple released iPhone OS 3.1.3 for all iPhone and iPod touch models, addressing several specific bugs as well as offering fixes for a handful of security issues.
This update for the iPhone and iPod touch contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

- Improves accuracy of reported battery level on iPhone 3GS
- Resolves issue where third-party apps would not launch in some instances
- Fixes bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard

Sounds to me like the majority users don't really need this update, I think Apple just wants to annoy your custom iPhones thats all.

Luckily, iPhone "ih8snow" dev team have kindly released a quick update on their snowbreeze jailbreak app. The new snowbreeze will jailbreak your os 3.1.3 device in no time!.

It works with the iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 2G and iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, and 3GS (old bootrom & non MC). Note - to Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.3 you need iTunes 9.0.3 and .NET Framework 3.5

Caution - It does NOT work for iPhones with new bootrom. So if you're a newbie on bootrom versions here's a quick guide, if you bought a brand new iPhone 3G S around September/October 2009, you most probably have the new bootrom. This theory does not apply for 3G S refurbished phones (the ones Apple give you as a warranty replacement), theres a high probability the refurbished phones come with the old hardware.

So what are you waiting for? Grab it here!
