Android 2.1 updates

With the successful launch of Android 2.1 via Google Nexus One, the Android love has finally hit other models including our infamous Motorola Milestone.

The Android 2.1 software celebrates many new features for the Android handset. The 2.1 update is aimed specifically at the high end models in the Android mobile line up. This is because the extensive software features requires the necessary hardware to provide the best user experience.

The Motorola Milestone 2.1 update is provided via Over-The-Air (OTA), and is available upon connecting to the internet. This update can be performed by the customer or be applied for the customer before shipping.

(Rooting service is also available and we urge for people to seek professional advice from us before attempting to root the mobile themselves - *Any rooted Android handset voids warranty*)

Some of the major features in 2.1 include,
  • 5,7,9 home screen panels
  • Live wallpapers (same as Google Nexus One)
  • Improved speed and performance
  • Bug fixes plaguing Android 2.0
  • 3D photo gallery
  • New App Launcher
  • Additional Apps (Facebook, Quickoffice etc)

To commemorate the only Android 2.1 device with physical QWERTY keyboard, we have managed to grab the Milestones again, coming back faster, better, stronger, and of course, CHEAPER!!

Check it out!
